YouTube TV to distribute Sinclair's multicast network The Nest
The Google-backed streaming cable TV alternative is also adding a sports-focused channel, and keeping other multicast networks like Comet, Charge and Roar on its line-up.
Sinclair, Inc. has renewed its distribution agreement with Google-owned pay TV service YouTube TV that will keep its broadcast TV stations, multicast networks and cable sports channel on the platform for a few more years.
The deal allows YouTube TV subscribers to continue watching local ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and CW Network affiliates owned by Sinclair in TV markets across the country, as well as Sinclair’s multicast networks Comet, Charge and Roar (formerly TBD). It also keeps the Tennis Channel and its FAST sister-service T2 on YouTube TV’s line-up.
