Sinclair CEO optimistic about "innovative" pay TV bundles
The broadcaster expects flexible and lower-cost cable and satellite TV packages to help boost the business of programmers in the linear TV industry.

Sinclair CEO Chris Ripley on Wednesday said he is optimistic that new programming packages offered by some cable and satellite TV services will help boost the traditional linear TV ecosystem as a whole.
Like other broadcasters, Sinclair charges pay TV providers for the privilege of distributing its local TV stations and multicast networks, including the Tennis Channel and what it refers to as “The Stack” — Comet, Charge and Roar (previously TBD).
